Digital camera Review: LITTLE ZEN STONE PLAYER

This little player was the perfect gift for our seven year old grand daughter. The price was right, and we loaded it with lots of her favorite songs. We love the fact that we could set the volumm at a reasonable level, and hopefully, protect her hearing. This is a super product for a child. I bought this handy little MP3 player on a whim one afternoon while shopping at Wal-Mart. I was feeling kind of out of the loop, being the only one of my friends without an MP3 player, and at $29.99, I figured it would do the trick.
The Creative Zen Stone is small, about the size of a book of matches. It comes with headphones, USB cable, and the MP3 player itself. I connected the MP3 player to my computer, the computer instantly "recognized" the MP3 player, and sent me to the proper folder.
Adding music was as easy as dragging and dropping files from my My Music folder on Windows. I added about 120 songs, let my MP3 player charge overnight, and in the morning I was ready to listen to my music.
It has pretty impressive sound for something so small. It has a "shuffle" feature, where it plays your songs randomly instead of in the order they are in. It also is pretty non-destructible. I've dropped it, stepped on it, left it in my car on in 100 degree heat, etc. etc. and it works as good as new.
I've had it almost a year now, and I've been taking it to the gym with me every day for over a month now. Its nothing fancy, and it doesn't have any bells or whistles, but it does the trick. I now have 190 songs on it, and it is about 2/3 of the way full. The battery life is VERY, VERY good. I charge it every couple of days as habit, but I've never had the battery die on me.
I'm ready to upgrade to something much fancier (iPod touch), but this little MP3 player has performed quite well.

The Creative Zenstone is very small, does what it's supposed to do, has adequate earphones, and is extremely easy to load. I got mine on the clearance end table at W.Mart for about 1/2 retail. I've purchase 3 of them so far. I like wearing it while exercising at the club, It's a lot easier to move from aparatus to aparatus than with my Zune. It even came with a skin and clip! I've had a Zen Vision M for a couple of years, with no problems at all. So I picked up a 1 Gb Creative Zen Stone 1 GB MP3 Player (Pink)Stone for taking to the gym and all. It's way cool. I just loaded lots of my favorite songs from Windows Media Player and play away. I was heart-broken when it went through a full cycle in our washing machine, -I didn't know until I heard it clanging around in the dryer. But a few hours later I checked it out and, luckily, it still worked just fine! After charging all night, I attempted to turn this mp3 player on and no luck. I heard nothing. Since there is no screen or noise, I had no idea what was wrong. I thought maybe there was no music on it, but then I reconnected to my computer and it was preloaded with several songs. Then I went to the creative zen website to try to find more information and nothing helped. Therefore I sent the player back.
