It's probably a great product, but BEWARE this is a 1GBx2 kit NOT a 2GBx1 kit as is implied by the listing and picture. Crucial's website is more accurate, showing a photo of 2 pieces as well as listing the item as 1GBx2.
If, like me, you want a single (2GBx1) piece, DO NOT order this item.

Used this in my dad's $350 cheap-o laptop Acer Aspire 3680 running Windows Vista basic that came with 512MB RAM. Night and day, painless upgrade that made a huge noticeable difference. I just recently installed Windows 7 beta and it gets even better... Now he can use Aero UI. The memory upgrade with Windows 7 literally turned his cheap-o laptop into one that can compete with the $500+ crowd.
