I had 512MB RAM on my Compaq Presario C555NR laptop. It got to a point that the speed was way too slow. I did some research over the Internet and found that Crucial had the best price on Amazon.com at the time, so I ordered the 2GB RAM set (1GB x 2) which was the maximum RAM allowed for my laptop. Upgraded my laptop from 2GB to 3GB(replacing one of my 1GB by a 2GB module). This RAM works flawlessly with my Toshiba A205-4639S after installing it. This lovely RAM arrived in perfect condition and snapped into my computer to double it's memory. It took about 5 minutes and works like a charm. This is a great product which compares with Apple memory costing 6 times as much. I have been using it for months now without any failure. I have even installed OSx without any "cannot verify base system" errors. I highly recommend this as an alternative to the OEM's high prices.
