Digital camera Review: Amazing for the price

I was looking for big sound with a very small price tag to fit in a small space and I found it! I am very fussy about sound but knew I didn't have the wallet at the moment to match. But since my very old speakers crapped out, adequate speakers would be better than no music at all. THis system came as a very welcome surprise. The sound is crisp. Subwoofer provides a reasonable amount of bass (you won't get floor thumping out of it) and is not too big for the shelf it needs to fit on. It gets quite a range of sound for the price. And it produces fairly big sound -- not at all that tinny compressed sound of cheap PC speakers. I expected maybe one step up given the price tag but got so much more. If you are on a budget, this is the way to go.
One word of caution from the box -- the subwoofer is not shielded so you have to be careful where you place in relation to your computer!

I bought these speakers about 2 years ago for $20 new. they where cheap and small. Perfect for my small room and easy to hook up my XM Radio. well I got rid of XM. and hooked them up to my PC for quite listening. well usually quiet listening turns into somewhat loud listening, and I am still am amazed how good they sound even at high levels. For a cheap $20 2.1 setup they are amazing! I would highly suggest these for anybody. The build quality is good as well. my cat has knocked them over quite a bit and that are still perfect!some complain about the volume knob, but I enjoy being able to move it where ever I want. These CA speakers, 2 table top speakers and one sub. are a great addition for any college desktop. They make watching Hulu and movies. They are also great for listening to music. Decent speakers. Excellent bang for the buck. separate base control is helpful for fine tuning your listening environment. however there is one pitfall to these speakers...sound quality. Compared to a hifi system or more expensive name brand systems, these fall short. But this can easily be overseen with the attractive price. The sound is just wow... and i have no regrets at all. the sound is so clear. i owned 2.1 speakers before but this is something different.
You can use it for a small party. and it wont let you down
