Digital camera reviews of Cyber Acoustics 2.1 Computer Speakers (CA-3090)Digital camera Review: For the price, they are Awesome Summary: 4 Stars
for 10$ that I paid for mine, they are great, a little heavy on all the wires, the speakers come as one set of wires so that is a little annoying and the volume control is another set of wires all wired into the subwoofer so the wires are messy but for the price and the sound I give 8/10 not to shabby.
Digital camera Review: Good PC speakers for the money Summary: 4 Stars
I hooked these up to my PC and it plays great, it's moderately proportion between the Bass and Terrible, but missing midrange... good set of speakers for the money.
Digital camera Review: Good for the price Summary: 4 Stars
Simple and somewhat satisfying!
PROS
Satellite speakers are crisp and clear with little distortion.
Subwoofer is adequate considering the size and 8 watts of total system power.
Two inputs - one for your computer and one for your mp3/ipod/CD/PSP/DSi/whatever you want player.
Volume control with Auxiliary in is tremendously handy. You will need this 3.5mm Stereo Male To Male Cable 3 ft. in order to connect to this jack as a separate cable is not supplied.
CONS
If you turn the subwoofer "volume" up above about 40%, you will get a fair amount of distortion depending upon music you are listening to.
8 watts total power is not very powerful and in order to get respectable bass, you need wattage. Still, this is alright for a small studio or apartment.
It would be nice is the second satellite speaker was not hardwired to the first so you add wire and separate them farther apart.
NOTES
I found that the volume knob on the subwoofer is really frequency adjustment knob that sweeps from about 40hz to 200hz. If you keep it on a lower setting, it significantly reduces any distortion that occurs when you turn the volume up.
For the price, it is on par with the pack.

If you're on a budget, these are the best choice. they have alot of bass, get pretty loud, good size for a dorm room. these arent the best speakers ive heard, but for 25$, you cant go wrong with them. perfect for use with my laptop
Digital camera Review: Good for the price Summary: 4 Stars
If you are looking for an upgrade for tinny laptop speakers or ultra cheap non-powered or even powered 2.0 speaker systems, this will fit the bill perfectly. They are compact and the control pod is very convenient. The sound quality is adequate for basic computer use if you tweak the EQ settings of your sound card or playback application. If you are looking for audiophile level fidelity or desk shaking bass you will be disappointed. It is too underpowered for any substantial bass response. If you turn the volume up too high the subwoofer does that sharp "boom" in the 40 to 60 hz range that causes the driver to cut out. Overall, good quality sound for this price point. It will not compete with anything from the likes of Bose, but in the sub $30 crowd - a very good value.
