Digital camera Review: Better than expected

Okay, it's not Bose quality, but I was pleasantly surprised at the sound produced by this little system. I purchased it for my son's party and it was plenty loud in our basement rec-room. Party attendees were switching in their own iPods without any instruction.
Since then, I've even used it outdoors on the deck. It can play pretty loudly before it begins to distort.
I really didn't expect much with a system in this price range, but I'm very pleased with the purchase. For kids parties or traveling, this will work out just fine for me. The fact that the iPod charges in the stand is a huge plus!

I needed to get a portable player for a small class reunion. After burning SIX CDs of "klassic" '70s tunes, it occurred to me that I could make a playlist on iTunes and just dock my iPod and let the music play without supervision. Duh. So I did a quick search for an inexpensive dock with decent sound.
This player arrived - so cute and portable - and I immediately panicked that the audio would sound like a "Close n' Play" from my childhood. WRONG. The audio is truly fabulous and this is the PERFECT size for such a get together. And since it operates with 4 AA batteries, no schlepping the cord. Oh, by the way, it comes with a great little carrying back for transporting.
So there's no remote...no big deal for what I need so I'm giving this the highest rating. This would also be an ideal dock system for people who travel and like to have music available to listen to in their hotel room.
(if the Bee Gees "Nights on Broadway" sounds this great with no distortion, that's a really good sign!)
Could be the perfect holiday gift.

I was looking for a small travel system for my iPod. I have the Bose system at home so yes, I have high expectations on sound quality. I have used the ihome travel speakers, but didn't like how you had to charge them. I wanted something that could run off an electrical outlet or battery, which this one does both.
The sound is very good and of course it charges my iPod at the same time, so no need to pack an additional iPod charger.
I was very pleased with everything about the Cyber Acoustics system except I wish it were just a little smaller and lighter. I guess you can't have everything though!
I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an iPod travel system with big sound.

I will probably give this product as a gift to my many friends with Ipods. The only negative is it lacks a remote .
