I bought this adapter in order to use a bluetooth headset with my computer. Starting off, the installation process was incredibly long and definitely not seamless. Once it was finally installed, my headset was able to connect, but no audio was transmitted to or from my headset. My phone was also able to connect, but the connection was incredibly slow. It took several minutes to transfer several small files, which I could transfer in seconds over USB.
After being unable to get my headset to work with the adapater, I decided to return it and try a different brand. Uninstalling the software was a pain. Using the uninstall package left a ton of files and drivers still installed, and I had to go through and remove them manually. Then I returned the D-Link adapter and got a Linksys adapter instead. The Linksys adapter worked with my headset perfectly with no fuss, and the software was much more lightweight and user friendly.
The only good thing I have to say about this whole thing is that Amazon has a very good return service. There was no problem at all with returning the adapter, and the only effort I had to put into it was dropping the package off at the Post Office.
