Digital camera reviews of D-Link DBT-120 Wireless Bluetooth 2.0 USB AdapterDigital camera Review: Believe it or not Summary: 5 Stars
I use this handy little "dongle" on my XP home sp2 system to allow mt zire 72 to hotsync and access my network to surf the web, read email, and IM. I really am glad I bought one.
Now don't get me wrong. It was not peach city from the start. I did get my PDA to hotsync from the get go. But alas the internet access was beging to look like a pipe dream. I even gave up on it for a few months and decided I was happy to sync and have one less wire on the desk.
Then like two weeks ago I did yet another google for help. This time I struck gold. Don't waste your time calling the support staff. They kept telling me to call my ISP. Now I am not some MS tech. But I had enough sense to know my isp would be as lost as I was.
Well if you read this and want to link a PDA to the net from your desk, have no fear. I can tell you it does work. So if you need the link I finally used go to: http://www.whizoo.com/bt_setup/
Take the time and read and follow this how to from start to finish and pay heed to the part "ICS is the other common problem." I think this was what did the trick for me in the end.
Happy hacking ;-)

Digital camera Review: Big waste of time. Summary: 1 Stars
Software did not install smoothly out of the box. Nothing that I tired worked, so I called their tech support.
Ten minutes on hold, and I get some kid who does not speak English. He says that he's having technical problems of his own. He's going to transfer me directly to level two support. More time on hold and I get a woman with WORSE English. It took us forever to open a case. Then she told me to re-install the software.
I told her that I'd already done that.
So she told me to reboot and re-install.
I told her that I'd done that too.
So she told me to go to their web site and download updated drivers, then reboot and reinstall.
I checked the site. The software hasn't been updated since 2004. She's telling me to download the same drivers that I have on the CD-ROM.
That's when I decided to return the product.
Total time online with tech support was over 40 minutes. This has been a huge waste of time. I've been happy with D-Link in the past, but this is laughable. Looking at other recent reviews, it appears I'm not the only one having problems. Fortunately, Amazon has a generous return policy.
Digital camera Review: Bluetooth Adapter Summary: 5 Stars
I use the D-Link with my iMac to link with my desk top and I just love it. It is very easy to use and works great every time.
Digital camera Review: Bluetooth Connection Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this item with some hesitation for fear of running into setup problems. After a quick and easy install, my fears immediately disolved when my office manager's computer (Running Windows 98 and Office 2000) appeared on my bluetooth enabled iPAQ. With this handy wireless connection I can also pick up my e-mail and browse the web with the iPAQ. No more confusion with the calendar and corrections or passing the iPAQ around the office, plugging and unplugging to get everything "in sync"! This device is a must. My only regret is that I didn't do this sooner.
