Very easy to install. Have used it for 3 weeks with no problems. One thing in particular that I do like about this unit is that each port has it's own LED that lights up green to show that it is working properly (pretty cool!). I have used several Usb ports over the years and all have failed after about 6 months, and some have given problems much sooner than that, This USB Port has given no problems at all and has turned out to be the best I have used.Digital camera Review: 7 ports good - wish it had 14

I own a variety of shapes and sizes of USB hubs from four different manufacturers. The DUB-H7 with its 7 ports is the best, no problems at all, that's why I ordered 2 of them when I needed more ports. I only wish D-Link would make a double-stack unit with 14 ports.
