Digital camera Review: A Welcome Silent Partner

I'm using the D-Link DUB-H7 High Speed USB 2.0 7-Port Hub with my iMac (OS X 10.5.5). Attached either to the computer directly or indirectly through the hub are two printers, a scanner, a headset with earphones and mike, a mouse and a keyboard. So far no problems whatsoever. I like the minuscule size and unobtrusive design, and I consider the price acceptable. Highly recommended.Digital camera Review: A good accessory for a laptop

I have purchased three of these hubs for various systems. Most hubs are four ports but this one at seven, is a good addition to a laptop connected to desktop installation.
I connect backup drive, addtional DVD burner, scanner, audio, Pocket PC, mouse, keyboard, card reader through a docking station into the express card adapter. Works well, but my biggest problem is all the AC cords.

This was a great little USB Hub while it lasted; failed after 2 years 5 months.
Prior to failure it seemed to work well. Its failure was to no longer provide power to connected USB devices from the wall-plug power module.
When utilized with Windows Vista I didn't see my USB hard disks, attached through the hub, appear in my computers list of attached devices; I couldn't disconnect attached hard disks.... D-Link tech support never responded to my question on that subject.

The DUB-H7 is very easy to use. Just plug it in to your PC and you instantly have 7 additional high speed USB ports. I use it with my ipod, printer, digital camera and scanner, and all work perfectly.
It's as simple as that... highly recommended!

I use it to connect my USB mouse, full-size keyboard, DVD burner, backup drive, printer, and camera dock all to one port on my laptop. And still have one port left! Works great, no problems. Very compact, pretty cheap price too.
