Digital camera reviews of D-Link DUB-H7 High Speed USB 2.0 7-Port HubDigital camera Review: A must to avoid Summary: 1 Stars
After installation, I noticed my printer wasn't working and it was this hub. I had to unplug and replug the printer at the hub. The same with my keyboard and later the same with my cam. Their online support said to try it on another PC, but I don't have another PC. After that, they wouldn't reply to my emails. It's junk.
Digital camera Review: A powered hub with not enough power Summary: 2 Stars
I bought this to hook up 7 different USB products. Unfortunately, even though it is a powered Hub, several of the products plugged into this hub would not work through the Hub: they needed to be plugged directly into my iMac. I got an error message saying that the hub could not supply enough power to connect my keyboard, my iPod, or my mulit-photo card reader. The power light was on, but somehow it did not produce enough power. The product was useful in organizing my cables, but was not useful in enabling me to avoid having to plug and unplug my USB products repeatedly. Not recommended for this reason.
Digital camera Review: A solid performer Summary: 5 Stars
You'd be amazed at how many things can go wrong with a USB 2.0 hub. Happily, none of those nasty things happen with this D-Link hub.
Plug it in to the USB port of the computer, plug the power into a 110 v AC outlet and you are good to go with 7 USB 2.0 devices. (It will handle USB 1.x, but remember that a slow device will slow everything else down. That's the nature of USB, not a problem with the product. This is a hub, not an intelligent switch.)
The USB hub itself is relatively small, which is nice. Some manufacturers make these things way bigger than they need to be. This one is compact, but has good clearance between each of the seven USB connecters. By the way, all the connectors are on one side, which is much to be preferred to those units where the USB ports are spread out on two or three sides, which simply adds to cable clutter.
Construction is as solid as it can be for a mass produced unit of this type and price.
The supplied USB cable is about 6 feet long.
My only criticism is that the power adapter is as relatively large wall wart kind and takes up too much space on a power bar. Unfortunately that's the way it is with most manufacturers of this kind of product.
On the whole, a well designed, well constructed product at a fair price.

Digital camera Review: Absolutely love it Summary: 5 Stars
After reading several reviews and receiving a recommendation for this hub, I decided to purchase it. The price is great too. I was actually surprised by the size and weight. It is unbelievably small and light and can fit just about anywhere. I've been using it for some time now and works wonderfully. People claim that theirs winds up braking/malfunctioning after a while, mine hasn't yet but I will say that if it were to brake/malfunction, I will most likely buy another one, which I highly doubt will happen.
Digital camera Review: Absolutely the BEST USB 2.0 Hub Summary: 5 Stars
This hub can actually handle mixed USB 1.1 1.0 and 2.0 devices without downgrading to 1.0. And, all of your USB inputs will go all the way into the hub for a secure connection. All those other hubs are junk. This is the best USB 2.0 hub!
