When you use this product with the right router, it is fast ... really fast. I have it working with the D-Link Extreme N Router [DIR-655] and it is pegged at 300 Mbps transfer speed, and it's rock solid. I never loose my connection, and watching streaming video is a pleasure. I first purchased a USB adapter [D-Link DWA-130] and this baby blows it away. I have since purchased another one of these cards for a different laptop. I am using this card on a Windows XP laptop and it works great. The signal strength seems excellent - I can go anywhere in my house or outside with a strong signal received. I am using the DLink DIR-655 Wireless N router with this card and have had no issues.Digital camera Review: D-Link DWA-652

I purchased this notebook adapter in concert with a D-Link wireless N router to replace a D-Link Airplus Xxtreme G adapter and Linksys wireless G router, hoping for increased range. This card has worked fine for me so far. I am an extreme Wi-Fi user, and this is hands down the best Wi-Fi card for a notebook computer sold on the market. Very highly recommended. This is the first D-Link product that I have ever recommended to anyone. Hopefully they will continue to break ground like they have with this awesome Wi-Fi card.
