Digital camera Review: Fast but conection drops ALOT

This card loses network connections CONSTANTLY. I have it paired with a totally compatible D-Link router, all updated drivers, etc. No network interference. It drops the wireless connection every few minutes, all the time. I had to switch back to the built-in one in my laptop. If you have a home network and are moving large files around then you need to go to Extreme N specs. This card plugged in, ran the setup disk, checked for new firmware and drivers and then it has functioned flawlessly for over a year. Easily falls back at hotels etc to wireless G but still provides better signal detection.
If you are home gaming or networking with an extreme N router then this card is easy and fast.

Ok, the other reviews of this product weren't that helpfull for me previous to my purchase of this product so i thought i'd throw in my two cents. I'm using this card to replace my old Linksys card which wasn't giving a whole lot of range or power and replacing my old liksys router. I'm now using the DIR-655 in conjunction with this card and i'm getting exceptional range! 300mbps at the fence of my property about 150 linear feet away through multiple walls. The card itself is able to detect networks from a lot farther range than my previous card. I'm very pleased with my purchase. Hope this helps others out. I was quite happy with this card, its range met my expectaions and is much better then the G standard. I held a speed of 54mbps for much longer distance compared to my Linksys wireless G card.
