Digital camera Review: Ruins your screen resolution!

I'm not sure what the deal is with this product. Reading the rest of the reviews, it appears as though some people are receiving something completely different than others. For instance, someone mentioned the "two part system" for removing the adhesive backing, which I definitely do not see on mine. It does, however, say on the packaging (in broken English) to remove one half first using the "red tab". I found a red tab in the packaging but it wasn't even attached to anything! It was just floating around in the bag. The adhesive backing did not come in two parts at all. I will give credit where credit is due: I got this product on a lot easier than the other screen protectors I have tried. No air bubbles and it lined up just fine for the most part. At first I was very impressed. It has a matte finish which feels really nice and resists finger prints. Then I turned the screen on. These make your display look really grainy, as though the resolution is horrible. I almost immediately removed it. I was convinced for a moment that maybe I was missing a second film that needed to be removed from the top. I tried and tried and tried and tried and was never able to find one. I even cut the thing apart to see if there were two separate pieces and had no luck at all. It's too bad because for a second I thought I had a great product. It's not bad as far as these go. It's a little less glossy than the actual screen, it resists dirt and fingerprints "pretty" well. It's kinda par for the course with screen protectors. It fits my iPhone 3g perfectly, with no glass gaps (These are NOT supposed to go on the bezel.) and the holes for the button/ear piece are perfect for the phone.
I bought these again after I used the first 2 in the package and gave one to my wife for her iPhone. She's still using hers. Mine took a full face down fall onto dirt and rocks that took a little chunk out of the screen protector, but it did it's job. Not a mark on the iPhone's screen.

This is definitely not a good product. Why do you think they send you a 3-pack? Within a week the edges, especially around the home button, will begin to peel and dirt will get under the screen protector. Afterwards, air bubbles will start to form and then your iPhone will look awful.
I would not recommend this screen protector. Also, very wasteful packaging for each protector. You get a clear plastic bag with a paper insert. Inside the paper insert you get another clear plastic bag with the screen protector. You also get a piece of cloth that is inside another clear plastic bag. Every time you put on a new screen protector you throw away 3 plastic bags, a paper insert, 2 sheets of plastic that protect the protector and a piece of cloth. That's all a bit unnecessary for one thin piece of plastic.
