Digital camera reviews of DLO HipCase Leather Folio Case for 80/120/160 GB iPod classic 6G (Black)

Digital camera Review: A Very Nice Accessory
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this case at the same time as my iPod. I have a habit of knocking my cell phone against furniture and stuff when I have it on my belt. So I decided to protect the iPod a little better.

A very nice leather case with all the holes in the right place for usability. An effective magnetic catch keeps it closed.

I would buy this again.

Digital camera Review: A contrary point of view
Summary: 2 Stars

Very attractive and functioned well--until it was yanked (my headphones got snagged) and then the fabric around the clip ripped, rendering it useless. The yank in question was not all that forceful.

Digital camera Review: A good choice with a few drawbacks
Summary: 4 Stars

Overall, I like this case and it protects my ipod, while allowing me easy access to the buttons. There is no screen protector, but this isnt an issue, since there is te flap.

The clip holds the case and the ipod securely in place, and the magnet holds the flap firmly in place. Clip is not removable.

The case fits the ipod snugly, but not too tightly. I dont think that the ipod can easily slide out, but there is some space for it to slide around.

What I dont exactly like is the size of the slit for the headphones. It can be enlarged by a little knife-work of course, but this is a slight drawback.

Digital camera Review: A perfect fit for my new 120GB iPod Classic!
Summary: 5 Stars

I've had my Apple iPod classic 120 GB Black (6th Generation) NEWEST MODEL for a few days now and it has been a little terrifying whenever I put it in my pocket. I have to remember if that is the same pocket that my keys are in. I've learned that the screen is pretty resiliant, however now I can just put my iPod in my pocket or on my belt and not have to worry at all. The magnetic grip on the cover is a nice touch. I wasn't aware that it had it, and that makes it all that much better.

Digital camera Review: A snug case for the iPod 160!
Summary: 4 Stars

This case is a very snug fit for the iPod 160, with enough room on the sides at the top to grasp it and pull it out with relative ease. I did have to work with it a little to get the flap to close completely, but once I got it closed, it wasn't an issue. The hole on top for headphone access is not placed accurately and you will have to work with that as well to get the jack plugged in through the top. There is also no access to the hold button through the top flap. The flap is magnetic, and includes a slot that could be used for ID, a credit card or business card. There is access on the bottom for syncing with the cable, but I doubt if you could leave the case on when placing your iPod in a dock. I do like the protection this case provides for on the go listening. I haven't tried a drop test and don't intend to do so, but I feel comfortable putting my iPod in my purse or backpack to carry along with me with no worries. Obviously this is not ideal for video watching, but for transport and music listening this case is ideal & I'm very happy with it.
