Let's face it, the iPod Touch is not cheap. You want to protect your investment don't you? This by far the best case you can find for the money. It's made of soft padded genuine leather and the best feature of all - no need to be removing the iPod from the case every time you want to charge it. Even if you have to remove that iPod from the case, it easily slides out without the hassle of struggling or wiggling it to force it out. All ports are easily accessible. I actually leave the earbuds plugged in and just wind them around the case to keep them together. The inside pocket is a plus. I use it to carry cash when I don't want to be carrying a wallet since I pretty much carry my iPod everywhere. The magnets keep the case securely shut.
Stylish, slim and affordable.
Also makes a prefect gift for anyone who has an iPod Touch.

I didn't want to wait for the 2g version of this case for my iPod touch version 2g. So, I purchased the 1g version.
Although the iPod touch 2g is 0.02 inches thicker than the 1g, size wise the case fits the 2g flawlessly.
Prior to purchasing the case, based on the pictures, I concluded that the 2g volume control buttons would be covered. This is indeed the case (not a pun). However, I plan to use the touch screen for volume control, so this is not an issue for me.
The case does not seem to effect speaker volume or wifi connectivity.
So, fives stars for a very nice case.

First things first: yes, it initially smells. I dunno what sort of chemicals they used to store/create it, but the first 24 hours are likely to be trying ones for the nasally-sensitive.
That said, this case rocks. It's sturdy and handy; snug-fitting to the Touch; and the clip works perfectly for my sweat-pants at the gym. So, don't sweat the smell: it eventually dissipates, and you'll be left with a great case.
