THIS ITEM IS VERY REASONABLY PRICED...IN FACT I GOT IT FOR ABOUT $10 INCLUDING SHIPPING COSTS IN COMBINATION WITH A HIGH SPEED SD MEMORY CARD.
I TRAVEL TO VISIT MY GRANDCHILDREN FREQUENTLY AND REALLY DON'T LIKE TO TAKE MY CAMERA CABLE BECAUSE I HAVE LOST IT A COUPLE OF TIMES IN THE PAST.
THIS TINY LITTLE GADGET FITS CONVENIENTLY IN A LITTLE CORNER IN MY CAMERA CASE, AND I CAN USE IT TO LEAVE PICTURES WITH MY SONS, FAMILY & FRIENDS OR TO UPLOAD PICTURES TO ONLINE PROCESSING SITES TO ORDER PRINTS. IT ALSO EASILY ALLOWS ME TO TAKE PICTURES FROM THEIR CAMERAS JUST BY PUTTING IN THEIR CARD...MUST HAVE EVERY PICTURE POSSIBLE OF THESE PRECIOUS LITTLE GRANDCHILDREN!

I really like this card reader and one of the reason it looks awesome and its very handy and easy to use! Easily transfers data and pictures from digital camera to pc and mac! Its 6 in 1 with usb 2.0 speed and its extremely fast transfering data! It also transfer SDHC data and thats one of the reason i bought this card reader! I'm now on my 4th one of these only because a friend bought them cheap in bulk and keeps replacing them for free. Basically they work fine for a time but with repeated connecting and disconnecting to USB port they all eventually failed. Maybe about one hundred connections. I guess you get what you pay for. They are not built solid and the PC board inside starts floating around after only a few connections. If you don't mind replacing them frequently then go ahead and buy one. I ordered the SDHC USB adapter, it does not support theSDHC Class 10 card I have. I have both SD and SDHC Class 10 Sandisk cards. This adapter can only read and render the photos on the 1GB SD card. on the Sandisk Extreme 8GB Class 10 card, you can see the file listing, but you cannot read the file contents or copy them anywhere.
The adapter has no indicator of the correct insertion orientation, and I cannot see how anyone could possibly use it for anything other than a SD card ...not mini as advertised. There is only one slot that is SD sized, good luck trying to put a mini card in it and retreiving it.
The adapter only works with low capacity SD cards. So it is useless for me and most buyers of today's camera equipment.
I have contacted the seller twice with no actionable response.
I am still hoping they will make good and send me an adapter I can use.
