I've used this for the past year to link my MicroSD HC cell phone memory with my USB PC. My PC has an SD card reader but does not recognize HC (high capacity). This converter takes care of that. It simply did not work. I tested the card so I know thats good but when inserted in the reader and the reader in the computer it didn't recognize it. I guess I got one of the defected ones. I would return it but it was free. I have a Windows XP home edition Service Pack 3.
