I was glad to have gotten this for free with my order of HDSD cards. Some people are not aware that a lot of computers/labtops are not able to directly read these HDSD cards from the built in multimedia reader. Its very handy to just plug it into my USB port too. It turned my SD cards into a USB drive. I love it. I use it at home to transfer files from one SD card to another and at work to keep my files safe.
The DMS 6-in-1 USB 2.0 High Speed Memory Card Reader Writer is Awesome! Using this with my computer's built in card reader makes a simple drag and drop procedure. It works exactly like a USB drive. On most computers it plugs right in. On others, with recessed USB ports I have had to use a USB extension cord.
I am very happy with this purchase and will probably buy another one.

Don't have a 6-in-1 card reader for your Desktop computer? This PnP USB 2.0 Memory Card reader/writer is a fast and easy solution. I purchased it specifically for use with my cell phone's MicroSD memory, after finding out how much their proprietary x-fer software was. I bought this USB reader and a 2gig micro for my cellphone. Both work great and now I can easily swap files between my cell and computer. I can't seem to play videos on my computer recorded from my cell. Can anyone help?Digital camera Review: Its good !

At first look, you'll find it cheap due to transparent plastic but let me tell you...this is a hard plastic and its quite sturdy. The package arrived neat; I had opted for standard shipping which was through USPS. The case was in bubble packing hence no worries of internal damage. It plugs fine in the USB port and the LED does work. I am happy with this 'handy' card reader.
