Digital camera reviews of DTV Tuner Converter BoxDigital camera Review: Better than the box that came with my Sony HD tv Summary: 5 Stars
This is the only digital converter box I've tried, but it seems to work extremely well. I used it on an old CRT Tv and a HD Sony that already had a converter box built in. On the Sony I picked up stations that I previously could not.
The Digital Stream box shuts off so you can watch the old analog signals till they are converted.
Not much to say. It works fine. I use it with the Terk HDTVa Antenna Pro.
Summary of DTV Tuner Converter BoxDigital to Analog DTV Tuner Converter Box This converter box comes in a nice compact form factor and has buttons on the box for power on/off and channel up/down. The universal remote should be able to control the power, volume and input source on your TV. It is programmed by holding the "TV Power" button on the remote and then pressing the "Up" button until the TV set turns off. The instructions say if the TV does not respond withing 150 trials, then it can not control your TV. The instructions also have IR Code listings - so I assume that an IR blaster should be able to control it. The Electronic Program Guide is limited by the amount of data from the broadcast feed. Some other boxes (like the Zenith DTT900) only show what is currently on, and what will be on next. The tuner sensitivity is almost as good as the Zenith DTT900 - I think I get 1 channel less. If you like style and features, then this box is a good selection. If you want rock solid basic performance, then go with something like the Zenith DTT900/901.
