DO NOT buy the CHEAP Digipower NP-40 replacement batteries.
They are grey in color and NOT the yellow as pictured as being sold by Amazon.
This is an email I send to one of the vendors selling them:
I am using a FugiFilm F700 Digital Camera.
This is the SECOND Digipower NP-40 battery that I have purchased from you. They BOTH have had the same problem. I charge the battery to full (at least the camera so indicates). I let the camera sit UNUSED for a week or so. When I come back, the battery is DEAD. I have even charged it and then taken it OUT of the camera. SAME RESULT!!
Also, the front and back faces of the battery BULDGES outward.
I have an original FujiFilm battery which DOES NOT exibit these problems.
