I encountered terrible dust particles on my sensor that I couldn't remove from using the dust blower. I used the liquid and the wand and removed them easily and quickly. I did not damage my sensor either. This is by far the best cleaning kit I have seen. Your first purchase after buying a DSLR should be a cleaning kit. The cost is relatively low and it might seem like an unnecessary component if the DSLR has anti-dust features but it is an essential part of your kit. I wish I had spent the small sum of money right after I brought my Pentax *ist DL rather than waiting in agony for a number of days for the cleaning kit to arrive (Micro-Tools did ship it very quickly).
The reason you should buy one of these kits is that every DSLR is going to eventually need to be cleaned. Even those that have anti-dust features still cannot completely eliminate dust on the sensor and in the sensor cavity. A kit like this is essential because the blower has a filter on the intake so that you do not blow more dust into the body. I tried using a can of compressed air but it did not work properly, the high temperature changes it creates can be dangerous, and bursts of fluid can come out and hit the sensor. Thankfully, even though I made the sensor much dirtier trying these alternative methods I was able to clean it back to 100% with this kit. The included instructions were precise and to the point. The kit has enough supplies to be used for hundreds of cleanings (remember, quite often all you'll need to do is blow off the sensor with the rocket).
In short, this kit is an excellent value that includes everything you need to maintain your DSLR sensor. The pads and fluid also work well for cleaning lenses. This might sound like an over board review but it rescued me after trying alternative cleaning methods. For the price, you can't go wrong and there is no need to risk damaging your sensor when a kit like this is easily within reach of every DSLR user.

This kit from Micro-Tools includes a lot of good things that you should probably own if you have a DSLR camera. It includes a "rocket blower," a rubber cleaning wand, cleaning pads, some cleaning fluid, and some other stuff. Separately, shipping alone will set you back more than the price of this kit, and Micro-Tools provides a generous amount of pads, fluid, and so on.
What's more, Micro-Tools doesn't just ship it off in a box and say "have fun," they also include well-written pamphlets for how to use the tools they send you. These pamphlets include straightforward instructions and good pictures/illustrations, and when I went to clean my camera I was confident that I could do a good job. I was already planning on Googling some tips, but was pleasantly surprised when I didn't have to.
If you're curious about cleaning your DSLR, or you have a problem and are looking to see if a single solution would work, try out the whole kit. I decided to get it in case just a blower didn't suffice, and having the whole range of tools is handy. Not to mention that the kit will likely last for years, given how many pads and how much cleaning liquid is included.
I normally don't write reviews for 3rd party products on Amazon but this kit impressed me. Bravo.

When I first bought my Rebel XT, I never thought this could happen to me but it DID! Somehow I got something on my sensor and it smeared. I wanted the dust spots gone. I was terrified. I just knew that my sensor was history and that my camera had just become a very expensive paper weight. I went ahead and bought this kit and used it. WOW!!!! The first pass with the wand and cleaner and the smear was almost undetectable. I used several pec pads to make sure that all of WHATEVER that was, was gone for good. I went outside and took a few photos of the sky at f22 and loaded them on my computer and it was clean. The smear and dust spots were gone. My heart finally started beating again. I wish I had bought this kit sooner becasue my camera was out of commission too long. I was starting to have withdrawls. I would set it on my desk and stare at it longingly....
Buy this kit and keep it handy. But as you have read, DO NOT clean your sensor unless ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. There are better uses for your camera other than a paper weight. Use the rocket blower, it works great and puts out a powerful stream of air.
