Digital camera Review: A Good Starter hearing Aid

I had my hearing professionally tested and was told I needed an $1,800 aid.
I decided to try this one because of the affordable price and it seems to work well.
It fits quite comfortably in my ear using the large tip (comes with three).
It must be seated properly in your ear or there will be some whistling but after some practice and 5 days later I am quite pleased with it.
While wearing it, I have not yet had to ask anyone to repeat what they said.
Also, my biggest hearing problem is where there is ambient background noise. I tried it out yesterday on the shop floor of a noisy plant during a sales call.
Normally, I would not be able to hold a conversation there but had no problem using this hearing aid (and an earplug in my other ear.) I am very pleased about this because it had started to become an problem for me!
This is my first hearing aid so I can't compare it to anything else other than to say it works fine and if nothing else is a good starter unit.
Oh, and the batteries are size 312 and readily available in all big-box stores and big name pharmacies. After 5 days I am still using the original battery I started off with (should last 10-14 days according to the instructions)but make sure you peel off the sticker from the battery before inserting it into the unit.
This hearing aid gets my approval, if I run into any issues, I will update this review!
