Digital camera reviews of Duracell 813-0291-07 175 Watt DC to AC Pocket Power Source InverterDigital camera Review: Car Inverter Summary: 4 Stars
This product does exactly what was stated on the literature. I used it on a trip to power a theraputic cold water pump in the car and everything worked per specification. A second power cord (besides the standard vehicle power point design) based on direct battery connection via clamps was also provided and I consider this a bonus to be used if a battery is not installed in a vehicle.
Digital camera Review: Compact, Quiet Inverter Summary: 5 Stars
This 175 watt inverter is full featured, very compact and quiet. I installed it to run a 13" TV (40 watt) in our RV and it works perfectly. I could have gone with the smaller 100 watt model, but for a few dollars more I opted for over-capacity. The low ratings for this item seem to come from those who did not determine the wattage required for their application, and purchased too small an inverter.
Digital camera Review: Convenient useful Summary: 5 Stars
Works great to charge a laptop and run most small appliances. Don't expect to run your 52 inch LCD when the power is out on Sunday to watch a local NFL broadcast....I tried it didn't work. Fortunately the power came back on by half-time, but I was able to charge my laptop on it.
Digital camera Review: Did Not Work with Laptop Summary: 1 Stars
I purchased this product to use in the car with a laptop and cell phone via the USB. It worked well using the USB to power the cell phone but when I plugged in the laptop, the red fault light came on and it would not charge the laptop. I recommend finding out how much power (or Watts) your laptop needs before buying this product.
Digital camera Review: Didn't work for me as promised Summary: 1 Stars
I bought this and a Dell official car adapter. I have a Dell Precision M4400 and it didn't work at all. It would start to power, then cycle off. I tried to power my Verizon MiFi and it didn't work either.
Another thing that sucks is that there is a power button. Once the car is started you then have to hit the power button. Why not just have a rocker switch and leave it on?
Would not buy again or recommend to anyone
