This thing is AWESOME. I've used it for my laptop in the car (not while driving :) and I've used the USB for my daughter's iPod and....I used it with the included cables for my car battery to blow up a double-high queen-sized air mattress when out in the middle of no-where when camping. I love it. Small, sleek, very modern looking, not the hulking big ones I've seen. The car battery cables are perfect and good length - like I said, it reached from my car battery to my air mattress on the ground between the length of it and the length of the cord on the mattress itself. I then bought a second one for my adult nephew's birthday because he was with us camping and used it then to charge his laptop and loved the small size and the car battery cables. So far so good. Compact design, very nice. Cord maybe a little longer than need be. Should be fine for traveling.

Purchased this product because of its compact size and it will fit into almost all accessory outlets. It works perfectly for powering my Toshiba Satellite 16" notebook. Powers many electronics like Mp3's, crank type lanterns that can be charged for many hours use laptop computers and anything else that can be charged that runs on battery power, this inverter will charge from your cars battery or from the cigarette lighter power source, great little gadget but somewhat slow in charging your electronics, this inverter did not drain my cars battery power from many chargings, would recommend this inverter for your travel needsDigital camera Review: Duracell DC to AV Works Great (laptop tested)

I recently used this Duracell DC to AC inverter on a cruise up the Pacific Coast Highway and it worked just great. Powered my HP Pavilion dv6700 (75 volts) and my T-Mobile myTouch 3G. Essentially it does what it's supposed to do. I have not tested it on anything high powered such as a television, Playstation, DVD player, etc... but according to the instructions other reviews, it should handle these just fine. The only reason I can't offer a rating of 5/5 stars is because the inverter does get rather hot to the touch. So hot in fact that after 6-7 seconds, it may burn you, but this may differ among different makes of cars and their respective DC outlets.
