The first thing I have to clear up is that these AAA NiMH rechargeable batteries are NOT 2650mAh. The highest currently rated AAA battery is only 1000mAh (as of this writing). I have submitted a product info update to Amazon to correct this. Now onto my review...
The rating on the version I own is 750mAh. I believe these "Rechargeable Accu" batteries now come in a 900mAh version. I bought these Duracell AAA batteries because of my dissatisfaction with the Energizer rechargeable AAA batteries. They initially seemed to perform better than the Energizers but that notion faded fairly quickly. I have probably charged these less than 50 times and one of them is completely dead. I took them out of the device I normally use them in and put them into my La Crosse Technology BC-900 Charger to refresh and 1 of them would not charge at all. I tried to revive it by using another charger to get some charge and see if then the Lacrosse could refresh it but it was not meant to be. Even after refreshing, my remaining Duracell's are now less than 500mAh. I had a Maha charger previously so I don't know how quickly the batteries degraded to less than 500mAh from 750mAh, but I don't plan on purchasing Duracell AAA's in the future.
Given how great low-discharge rechargeable batteries perform, I don't see why anyone would purchase normal NiMH batteries. I highly recommend looking into Sanyo Eneloop AAA NiMH Pre-Charged Rechargeable Batteries (4 Pack) and comparable low-discharge NiMH. I'm very happy with mine.
