When your USB chargeable devise is low on battery, plug it in
Simple.
It seems to have about the same capacity as a iPhone battery, and is light & small enough to throw into your bag/pocket/pack. Some days, you know you're going to kill the battery on the phone, but don't have the ability to charge it. This works.

I bought this on lightningdeals 4 mos ago and have used it much. Keep it charging on my computer all the time and grab it when I leave for work. It is rock simple to use. Charges with USB mini and accepts any standard USB cable to your device. It is 1000 mAh, good for 3/4 charge on my Blackberry 8330 with large 3rd party battery.

I purchased this item from CompUSA for USD$12.99. Although this is the older model it still works great. Typical Duracell quality - small, slim, light weight, and very easy to carry in your pocket. Excellent battery. I use it as a portable backup charger and power supply to my smart phone (Samsung Vibrant). A great feature of this unit is the ability to charge BOTH the Duracell and your USB device at the same time thus requiring only one USB charging source.Digital camera Review: This battery is great! This battery is so easy to use and travel with. I got it as a gift and I plan to give these as gifts or stocking stuffers as well. I no longer bring my chargers for my cell phone, iPod or digital camera with me when I travel. The Duracell Instant Power Charger works great with my iTouch and cell phone. I can now use my iTouch and cell phone whenever I want on long airplane rides because I can recharge them with this portable charger. It is smaller than an iTouch so it packs easily. You still need the proper USB charging cord for your device.
