Digital camera Review: Best pre-charged Duracell package so far
Summary: 5 Stars
Alkaline batteries are easily obtainable in a 16-pack or 24-pack and I wish low discharge batteries are the same. So far, this is the best Duracell has to offer. Found this in a warehouse store that usually carry Eneloops. Eneloops are gone and Duracell now took it former place. Made me scratch my head. Anyway, it is always good for the consumers when companies compete with each other; because these type of batteries are not cheap. Duracells are made in Japan if it has a white top (around the positive anode) and made in China if it is black.
Regular NiMh batteries are old school; these new batteries are greener and better.
Pros:
-For a rechargeable battery, these batteries does not need to be charged before you use it for the first time
-They last a long time.
-Does not need special charger. You can use your existing NiMh charger.
Cons:
-Looks almost the same as regular Duracell alkalines except for the added color of lime green. You can confuse them with regular Duracells and mistakenly thrown away after losing charge.
-This later technology is still expensive. But you can get it on sale from time to time.
I also like Eneloops by Sanyo. But they are not easily available at your local stores unlike Duracells.
