Digital camera reviews of Dymo LetraTag Plus LT-100H Personal Label MakerDigital camera Review: Great organizing gadget Summary: 5 Stars
This is a terrific little tool and an inspiration to become more organized. Good for labeling kids' items too. I use the plastic label tape for things that get wet, such as a water bottle kept in the fridge. So far they have stayed on & I'm very pleased with it. My one slightly-negative comment is that the font size default cannot be changed - default size is large, but I'd prefer medium - it's plenty big and would save tape. So I have to change the size each time I print something. But still... easy to use, doesn't take up much storage space and I love it. If Dymo would produce colored tape (I've only found white and clear) that'd be even better!

Great gizmo. Works right out of the box. Practically no learning curve.

I need to read more about it but have been amazed that it really is pretty simple to use.
Digital camera Review: Horrible! Summary: 1 Stars
To start with, after about the third label it started printing any vertical line very faintly and with lines in it. The straight part of the L,P,H,etc. is barely visible.
So of course a labeler that doesn't print well is worth nothing.
Add on top of that the fact that the labels are so hard to peel that they require the patience and nerves of a neurosurgeon. I ended up getting out the tweezers. Because it's so hard to peel, the labels end up mangled and look horrible once you stick them.
One more thing, even with the power adapter in, after you print a label a warning comes on saying low power. It does this with batteries too, so if you're using batteries (not a good idea) how do you know if it's really low on power?
I've had this two days and it's being returned.
Digital camera Review: How to fix the 'ink' problem Summary: 4 Stars
I also had the 'ink' fading problem....after having ignored several battery warnings. So I found this answer:

Dymo LetraTAGs are thermal printers, so they don't use ink - just batteries and LetraTAG tapes.
When the print starts to fade it's time to put new batteries in. When the batteries are running out the text fades first even when the motor is still feeding tape.
Hope it helps!
