Digital camera reviews of EVGA GeForce 9400 GT 1 GB DDR2 PCI-E 2.0 Graphics Card 01G-P3-N945-LR

Digital camera Review: Big Improvement!
Summary: 5 Stars

Bought this for my Dell Inspiron 531 to upgrade from the original integrated graphics. Super easy to install, i didn't uninstall the Nvidia Drivers or anything. The longest part was upgrading the drivers. This computer comes with a 300 watt battery so I didn't have to buy anything else to use it. While I was inside the case i cleaned and vaccuumed the fans and cobwebs and it runs smooth and quiet. For WoW players, it increased Framerates and decreased Latency, makes everything smooth!

Digital camera Review: Cool and Quiet.
Summary: 4 Stars

I was looking for a PCI-E graphics card that costs less than $100 and will last more than 9-10 months.
The EVGA 9400GT 1GBDDR2 PCI-E 2.0(01G-P3-N945-LR) works well so far.

-It's standard 6cm fan isn't very loud (my CPU fan is much louder).
-Cooler components last longer, it's temperature averages 37 degrees Celcius (98.6 Fahrenheit) including some gaming and photo editing, and at boot-up, it's down at 34 degrees Celcius.
-The performance is noticably better than the PNY GeForce 7600GS it replaced, and very similar to my overheating XFX 8600GT 512DDR3 (but I have not benchmarked or performance tested it yet).

As other reviewers mentioned, the EVGA 9500GT probably offers a slight performance advantage for only 10-15 dollars more, and that's probably a better bargain for more serious gamers. I'm satisfied with the 9400GT for casual gaming, and I simply wanted a graphics card that will last more than a year. So far, so good.

Digital camera Review: Decent graphics card at a good price
Summary: 4 Stars

I don't do much graphic intensive gaming, but the recent system I bought had integrated graphics much too slow for games that were a few years old. I selected the GeForce 9400 GT based on affordability. It installed easily and was up and running in just a few minutes, and runs everything I've tried quickly and smoothly. The only strange thing is that when I first log onto my computer from sleep mode lines squiggle a bit until the card warms up after 30-60 seconds, but this isn't really a problem. Overall, a good value.

Digital camera Review: Decent graphics for a decent price
Summary: 5 Stars

If you are looking to get your game going without breaking your wallet, this graphics card is the one. It's powerful enough to run most games with the graphic settings being best on medium or high for the games. Since it does not require a power supply, you can just literally plug this into your PCI-express slot, install the drivers, and away you go! I bought my card for around $60 and that is a decent price for a mid range graphics card.

Digital camera Review: Does this....
Summary: 5 Stars

Does this support DirectX Shader Model 3, more like does it support the game Arma II?
