The very afternoon I purchased this binocular, I was at a hawkwatch gazing up at Broad-winged Hawks flying overhead. As dusk closed in and cold, gusty winds pushed the hawks ever higher, I was still clearly picking out distant kettles. Such clarity!
You can buy better binoculars, of course. But at this price, you'd be hard-pressed to find a roof prism binocular with better optics. Weighing only 27 ounces, they're surprisingly easy to handle given the size of the objective lenses. I recommend these! UPDATE: When I sent my binocular to Eagle Optics for repair, I was surprised to receive them back one week later with all problems corrected. The lifetime warranty on this binocular is top grade!
