At first I truly was skeptical. I mean what do you expect for $0.80 (and free shipping yet)! But I was quite amazed when I got the product and applied it. It has the same quality, look and feel of those available at Best Buy or at the mall for 10x more price. Yes, the packaging was generic (bubbled mailer though, nice!), and did not have fancy packaging. Unless you want to save those fancy packaging as a memento, this less-than-a-dollar screen protector does the same job as those other more expensive ones. I am very happy with this purchase. Just take your time applying the thin film on your Ipod, use the little plastic thingy to get all the bubbles out. Don't worry if you still have a couple small bubbles left, they will eventually go away (trust me!).
BTW, I used this on my daughter's 1st generation Ipod Touch.

I was very pleased with this item. The item actually has 3 laminated films: the projective screen itself, another that covers the sticky side until you put it on, and a third that protects the top side until you've got it in place and squeegeed to your heart's content, without worrying about scratching the protective screen. Everything seemed well made.
Although it's pictured here as just coveing the touchscreen, the one I got covers the whole front, which is what I wanted. But it's exactly the size of the ipod, which means you need to position it VERY precisely or it will go over the edge a little. That leaves a little lip that eventually gets pulled up and gets dirt under the film. So next time I think I'll get the one that just covers the touchscreen. But who knows which I'll get when I re-order this.

This is a bad product. Although it is thicker than others, it only works with the second gen, and it slightly off size. Not only would it bubble alot, but you couldn't get the bubbles out because of its thickness.Digital camera Review: Not quite there...

I bought this product because it was super cheap and for that I was happy however, it said it came with a "squeegee" that I never got and the film is just a tad too small all around to fit the i-pod touch (1g). All in all no problems and I guess you get what you pay for!
