Honestly, you are bettter off going to the apple store and buying their screen protector. They cost $15 but its worth it because you set TWO great screen protectors and they will put them on for you so their are NO air bubbles and NO lint, dust, or dirt trapped under the protector. I had less of a problem installing film purchased in Apple store on my IPAD, than this thing.
Don not buy it.

I'd tried another screen protector for my iPod 3rd gen, but had trouble eliminating bubbles -- and trapped a little piece of lint under it. That protector used a liquid adherent and squeegee card. This protector provides a "tack cloth" to clean dust off the screen (I recommend using a good glass cleaner first). And it has a unique approach: there are two sheets protecting the screenguard: one covering the adhesive side, and one to act as a thick carrier sheet as you position the protector. A small protruding tag on the carrier sheet makes it easy to position the protector and use your fingers (or the tack cloth) to "roll across" the sheet and anchor it. The surface is smooth (not "rubbery" like the previous protector I used). It's crystal clear, and you don't even know it's there. I purchased mine for an iPod Touch 2 from SF Planet here on Amazon -- it stinks. Chinese packaging said the screen guard could be removed and replaced. Getting air bubbles and tiny pieces of dust trapped is basically unavoidable. When I carefully peeled back the guard to try and reapply it smoothly, it lost its stickyness and only became worse. I've got nothing to compare this specific guard to, but it looks awful and is peeling off, even after smoothing it out with a credit card as advised by Apple. This product is not made by "RiteAV" -- mine came in Chinese packaging with poorly-worded instructions. It says the screen guard is "dust free" -- it actually seems to attract dust and is very diffiult to than remove the dust. Perhaps usable if you can manage to get it on perfectly smooth on the first try.
