Digital camera Review: Never ready when needed

Waste of money. This unit has to re-cyle and re-heat every minute or so (random) even if it is not spraying smoke. Hitting a "smoke cue" is impossible because it is always warmimg up. Then if you are lucky enough to get smoke when needed, it cools off after a few seconds of smoke and has to re-cycle again. Useless design.Digital camera Review: not as popular as I thought

The kids had been asking about a fog machine for their rooms. They ended up with this model, which, in point of fact, does the job fairly well, but in bursts rather than in a continuous stream. They've been a little disappointed with this, but have collaborated and use two of them in one room, staggering the output so they end up with a stream, rather than a large puff.
Functionally, the machines are quite good. Fit, finish and function are all better than I expected for the price.

Dont use the cheap fog liquid as it smells bad and gums up the system if you leave it in too long.
I got this last year for a small party and had the smoke alarm going off in my basement within seconds. This beast puts out lots of fog and does a nice job.
It does get hot and drips at the front if you spray for too long but it does do what it's supposed to. Also note that the cap on the machine doesn't seal well and will drip if you angle the unit too much.
Keep it away from walls and floors as the oil will collect on them and leave you with a mess to clean up later. It's best on a stand 3-4 feet off the ground.
Overall build quality is very nice. Metal case, compact, nice bracket, lighted remote telling you when it's ready.
The threads on the tank are plastic as is the cap and can be damaged if you cross thread which is quite easy...

Ordered this fog machine and started it up. After about 5 seconds of fog it needed to recycle and never did another batch of fog. Messed with it for about 2 hours and gave up. I guess if it worked it might be a good deal. Minimal instructions. Not impressed.
Update --- I did finally get it working by working the nozzel hole with a pin. Apparently something had blocked it. It works good as much as a small machine can.

This machine really performs well, streaming out lots of fog with a trace of smell. We bought it for our grandchild's mystery party and she is thrilled with it. The adults squabbled over who gets to play with it next. A very sturdy machine.
