It was great until like all have said the Day Light Savings change and now I see they are "out of stock" on Amazon. Hmmm? I've heard so many different things to change this, but it comes down to me changing my clock an hour ahead or behind the night of DLS. I've had this alarm clock for several years and LOVE it! My favorite feature is the setting that will just let the alarm go off M-F, or you can also set it to go off on just weekends or every day of the week. As others have mentioned, it's not an atomic clock, but for the price works just as well... ok, until now with the new daylight savings time. But I'm happily purchasing a new one, and expect to stay happy for the next several years!Digital camera Review: Love it

I have 2 different SmartSet models. I've had one for well over a year, and the 2nd for just a few months. I bought it for my husband because I've been so happy with mine. I love the time-reset feature. It's really easy to set and use this clock and the alarms. It has a lot of flexibility without being overly complicated. Some reviewers have mentioned their clocks are either fast or slow. Both my clocks keep the correct time TO THE MINUTE. I also can't say I had any problems with the daylight savings change. The older clock had a one-time-only fix when the change went into effect. I do not have to repeat this 'fix' ever again. The second clock was already programmed for the new DST. The radio reception is as good as any alarm clock radio I've ever owned (which is to say, not great, but functional). Yes, the display is a bit too bright, even on the dim setting - but it doesn't disturb my ability to sleep.Digital camera Review: Love it!!

I love this alarm clock - and seriously, who says that about an alarm clock. I bought it about 2 years ago when we found the need for 2 alarm clocks (one on each side of the bed). Hubby got my old one and I got this one. I love it - OK, so now that the daylight savings time has changed you have to actually set the clock (at least mine has to be set), but I love the fact that you have 3 options for setting the alarm - M-F, S/Su or every day. Works great because I never have to remember to set the alarm. After hubby forgot to set the alarm (again) this morning, I'm buying another one for his side of the bed.
My only gripe is that the volume is very touchy and the quietest setting is still pretty loud, but that might just be me.
