I would have given this 5 stars if only it has autovolt, which could automatically handle 110 & 220VAC, as most of the chargers are. But there's no information anywhere, not even in the Energizer website, that says it's a 110VAC-only charger. I had to buy a step-down transformer to be able to use this here in the Philippines. But it's one great and fast charger!!! Imagine being able to charge 16 batteries in an hour! I coupled this with the La Crosse BC-900, and I now have the perfect pair of chargers.Digital camera Review: Fast or what?

Well I bought it on impulse.. price was really good. I have 3 chargers already but nothing like this.. 15 mins - it really is that fast.. I am really impressed.. other chargers are finding new homes - I use batteries that fast & this new one really does keep em charged fast & I can also keep em goin in the car too. excellent.. will charge up any of my previously purchased batteries (NiMH).Digital camera Review: GREAT CHARGER_ 5 Stars
GREAT CHARGER- need to use it every 10 minutes- these rechargable nicads are useless....but if you insist- this is a great charger!.....but buy it elsewhere---i am now an Amazon Hater- so get it elsewhere- my opinion

I think it is designed for only relatively new batteries...
All the rechargeable batteries I own from a year ago dont get charged on this charger. I have to use my old overnight charger.. However, while the battery is new (so far batteries 6 months old or less), this charger is working perfectlty!! (15 is a true 15 minutes)..
I charge half my batteries( the relatively new ones) on this charger, and the others on the older charger..
The thing is all my batteries are the same, only how long ive been using them is the only difference.. This is a new way for batteries companies to make you change ur rechargeable batteries sooner! even though the old batteries might still work properly (maybe not in digital camera), but for sure in computer mouse or mp3 player..

I didn't give this 5 stars because it doesn't handle 240V input. The older Energizer 1 hour charger's AC adatper could take input for both 120V and 240V. The 30 minute model is a little bigger then the previous model but is still pretty small. It works as fast as it claims and the batteries get very hot. It charges each battery and does not require pairing up of batteries which is good. I wished Energizer kept the ability to handle dual input voltage. If you don't need the charger for use when travelling outside the U.S., then this charger is fine.
