Digital camera reviews of Energizer Energi To Go iPod Charger With 2 AA Lithium Batteries

Digital camera Review: BUSTED IPOD
Summary: 1 Stars

This product DOES NOT WORK! I followed the instructions that were enclosed with the charger to the letter and it FRIED my IPOD! I have had my 30GB for close to three years now and everything was fine until the bunny borked it. I am waiting to hear from Energizer to see if they will replace my now broken IPOD. I would steer clear of this product.

Digital camera Review: Best I've Found, But Still Not Perfect
Summary: 4 Stars

Firstly, let me say that along with this I also own the [[ASIN:B0007XCT18
Maxell iPod Backup Battery Pack]] and the Turbo Charge iTurbo Portable Reusable iPod Charger - IP140 for my 30GB generation 5 iPod Video.

I will be flying from Ohio to Australia in the next month and I would like to be able to watch the movies, television shows and listen to my music and audiobooks on my ipod instead of being constrained by whatever in-flight entertainment provided. With that said, let's take a look at the Energizer Energi To Go Portable iPod Charger:

PROS:

-Both CHARGES and EXTENDS battery life.

-Comes with 2 ENERGIZER e2 LITHIUM BATTERIES

-Small

-Folds up for packing

-Designed for G5 iPod video and nano devices but works with any G5 or G6 ipod (have not tested earlier models)

-Adjustable for iPod Nanos and Videos

CONS:

-Made of plastic and has a delicate feel to it, extended use or rough traveling might break device and for $30, that would be unfortunate

-Batteries have to pretty much be forced into compartment, makes me nervous due to the plastic mentioned above.

-Docking system might not work with iPod cases, it didn't with my Belkin F8Z115-BLK Clear Acrylic and Brushed-Metal Case (Black)

RATINGS:

Durability: 2/5

Functionality: 5/5

Portability: 5/5

Overall: 4/5

Digital camera Review: Charges iphone 4 and ipod nano
Summary: 4 Stars

I got this as a company gift and left it in my drawer for nearly 6 months until I got a iphone 4 recently.

Since I am going on a 12 hr flight, I thought why not try whether this gadget will work on the iphone, since the connectors for iphone and ipods are similar.

Tried the Lithium batteries and it worked without problems.

Tried other Energizer Alkaline batteries, the iphone gave a beep but won't charge.

As many had said earlier, the connector is flimsy and sometimes you need to adjust the phone a bit to make sure it is charging. Otherwise, it does the job to provide juice to the phone battery.

Digital camera Review: DO NOT buy this junk!
Summary: 1 Stars

I bought 2 of these thinking 'hey it's so cheap I will buy 2 just in case one breaks'.
I have not even used either for a full charge and NEITHER OF THEM WORK! I have an iPhone 2G and an iPod 120GB classic (the newest one) ... I tried other batteries, other battery brands, all the settings to fit in to the dock, wiggling the ipod and connector... NOTHING WORKS. don't waste your money on this crap. it's cheap for a reason.

Digital camera Review: Does not work with iphone
Summary: 1 Stars

I bought the product on woot because they advertised that this product is designed for iphone.
FALSE.
Don't trust woot.
Don't spend you money on useless items.
