Digital camera reviews of Energizer NH15BP-4 Rechargeable AA Battery 4 Pack

Digital camera Review: 2500 mAH AA Don't last a day!
Summary: 1 Stars

From the very first use of the Energizer 2500 mAH AA batteries, I was very disappointed. They didn't last but a few hours in my digital camera. They are only good for small flashlights and such and even then don't last as long as a regular disposable AA.

I also tried them in my small gps, fully charged, I took a 3 hour motorcycle ride and when I went to use the gps, the batteries were dead. They take a full 8 hours to re-charge and then don't even last that long in use. They discharge even without use in less than a week.

Poor product - not recommended for digital cameras, GPS or anything but a very small flashlight and even then, you can only count on them for about a day's use.

Digital camera Review: A good buy
Summary: 4 Stars

Usage:
3 months; Portable CD player & Digital Camera

Pros:
No performance loss, cheaper in the long run, & better for the environment

Cons:
80% less longevity as alkaline

Verdict:
With 1700mah of power, Energizer has changed my doubts about rechargeable batteries. If you use them for digital photography buy the quick charge. I still go through 4 batteries with a few hours of use.

Digital camera Review: A good deal!
Summary: 5 Stars

These rechargeable batteries, even if used are a great product. Make sure you have the correct and compatible charger for great performance.

Digital camera Review: A must have for digital cameras!
Summary: 5 Stars

I have had these for over 2 years, and used in two different digital cameras. Regular Eneergizer or Durcells did not last long in my camera. These last much longer. You save a lot of money in a short amount of time. I got a new camera back in October and have already recharged the batteries at least 5 times. So these paid for themselves within a few months. (I have two sets of these) TIP: Use a flashlight or something similar to fully discharge the batteries before you charge them. This will make them last much longer.

Digital camera Review: Actually bought them at Carrefore in Beijing but still work great
Summary: 4 Stars

I had actually purchased these at Carrefore (Wal-Mart like store) in China along with a similar charger, except created for the Chinese voltage, when I was studying abroad in Beijing after I kept going through alkaline ones the way a kid goes through candy on Halloween.

A year later they still work great even after switching to using an old NiCd/NiMH charger after I came home since the China charger was designed for 220 rather then 120. While the charger refuses to give me a green light that they are done no matter how long I leave them in there as long as I leave them in there for as long as I used to, app. avg. 7 hours, they work fine.

Though it does take a while for my camera to charge the flash again though it always took that long so I'm thinking it's the camera. I've got a Nikon Coolpix 7600.

They still work and even if I don't use my camera they last for weeks. I had them in the camera for weeks before actually using the camera on a recent trip to The Getty Villa to take pictures and despite a whole afternoon/evening of pictures (1130ish till 9ish) the batteries are still fine and I haven't gotten an alert for low power.

These are definitely better then the alkaline were.
