I had hoped that the battery companies had finally gotten it right. I decided to spend the extra money on the rechargeables and was incredibly disappointed. Sure they were great the first 3-4 times I used them. But, now, when I recharged them for 6th or 7th time, they can't even get a simeple LED light bright. These are pathetic. I bought these batteries and they were a total disaster. They would run out very quickly and need frequent recharging. When I left the batteries (fully charged) alone for a few days I would come back to find them completely drained. I ordered the "GE/Sanyo eneloop 4 Pack AA NiMH" on Amazon, and they were great. I don't have to charge them too often, and I can leave them for weeks and use them again for another round of photos. I highly recommend you steer clear of the Energizer, and go with the GE/Sanyo which is about the same price. Be careful. If you plan to charge and use these immediately, they're OK. If you plan to leave them on the shelf for a couple of weeks...they will be dead. Problem gets worse after about 6 months. Just a quick review. In my Kodak 4MP camera I can take 8 pictures before regular Akaline batteries are dead. With these batteries I can take over 100 pictures before they need recharging. Overall you could easily saves hundreds of dollars a year with this small investment. Be sure to get yourself one of the Energizer rechargers, either the standard or the 15-minute version. I originally purchased 8 of these batteries but they simply do not keep a charge. I even reported the issue to Energizer by providing them with batch numbers so they may resolve any production issues. Instead I received a credit to purchase more and alas same issue.
Save your money, I am now using Powerex AA 2700mAh NiMH Rechargeable Batteries w/holder- 4 Batteries Per Pack batteries and have no complaints.
