Digital camera reviews of Energizer Ultimate L92BP-4 Lithium AAA Battery 4 PackDigital camera Review: Super light, Super Expensive Summary: 5 Stars
When you are shaving grams off your pack, replacing alkaline batteries with lithium is a good option if you don't mind the expense of paying over $1.00 per battery. Lithium batteries have an exceptionally long shelf life and work in cold weather where alkaline batteries go flat.
Digital camera Review: These are phenomenal Summary: 5 Stars
Assuming that this is the equivalent of the Energizer Lithium aaa battery, it is phenominal. I have been using them on my MuVo mp3 player, and they last far, far, far longer than regular batteries. The only problem is that they are hard to find because they are so new.
Digital camera Review: Top Rated in Consumer Reports Summary: 4 Stars
Very pricey (Amazon beats Wal-Mart hands-down), but they last the longest of any battery source. Consumer's just reviewed batteries for power-hungry digital cameras and confirmed same. I use 'em in my battery-eating HeadRoom Super Bithead portable headphone amp (4-AAA) along with my iPod Classic and Shure SE-530PTT music rig, and they outlast multiple sets of Duracell copper-top and Energizer Max alkalines. I carry an extra set in my computer bag so i'm never without my tunes! LOL!
Digital camera Review: Use this battery in your digital camera Summary: 5 Stars
If you have a digital camera and it takes AA batteries, buy these. I have 3 Canon cameras, one for work - A520, one for underwater - A570 and one for regular use - A720. AA Alkaline batteries were giving me 30 shots if I was lucky, and when you are underwater, you can't change the batteries. I also use rechargable "eneloop" batteries which I also highly recommend, but they don't hold a candle to the lithiun batteries for service length.
Here's how it breaks down for my use. The 520 gets about 750 shots on one set, with mixed flash and non flash. The A570 gets about 400 - 450 shots per set with all the shots using the flash, and the A720 is still on it's first set of lithiums after a year of use and about 500 shots.
Yes, these batteries are more expensive, but well worth it. If you are into recharging, use the eneloop batteries, they do keep their charge while being stored. However, if you are looking for long life, you can't beat the lithiums.
