Have a wonderful Polk Audio RT 5000 system that sadly I have to sell.
I knew finding a replacement speaker system was going to be tough. I looked at many system and in the end I needed a small compact speaker
system. I read all the good reviews on this and others sites. I talked to an audio sales man who didn't have good things to say about Energy speakers. I took a chance on this system and wow I I'm so impressed.
This system sounds amazing, clear highs, and excellent imaging. I have them in a fairly large room and they seem to hold their own quite well.
I did add a second Energy Sub and have them set low. Overall for around $588.00 I feel I have a killer little system. I paid $5000 for the Polks.
won't do that again.

I was hesitant to go with this setup, but I am so glad that I did. First off, I only paid $399 for this set and now I see that it has gone up in price so that tells me that people are liking them and buying them. The black piano finish is so elegant and classy. Goes great with my 40" Samsung LCD TV. Paired these up with the Onkyo TX-SR706 and I loved every minute of installation and setup. No issues whatsoever.
Only thing is was that they were a little bigger then expected, but I don't know, is that really a bad thing?? :)

I have been searching around for a compact high quality setup for a while. This is it! I consider myself an audiophile, and the sound reproduction that comes out of this set is quite impressive. For the price and size this is an unbeatable set. I used to own Energy tower speakers but they did not fit right in my new house. These speakers are very comparable to the full towers, with only a slight loss in clarity around the mid range. I highly recommended this set for someone looking for amazing sound on either a tight budget or space limitations.Digital camera Review: Amazing!!!

Amazing! These are replacing a 15 year old pair of Kenwood towers and an old Sony center/rear set. I have been listening to my regular play lists and I am amazed when each song comes on. I have been missing so much from my music this whole time! High lows, low tight bass. Very clear and crisp. They sound a lot bigger than they actually are.
I did a lot of research...reading reviews, listening to stuff in stores, etc before I finally settled on this set. Get them before they are gone. These set has been discontinued to make room for their new (and pricer) models.
My wife likes how they look. Ha. She says they are much prettier than the big old chunky Kenwood towers we had. I must say I agree with her, but the sound is the best part. I can't wait to finish breaking them in so I can really crank them up.
