Digital camera reviews of Epson PictureMate Dash PM260 Compact Photo Inkjet Printer (C11C694201)Digital camera Review: Epson PM 260 Dash vs. Canon Selphy Summary: 5 Stars
This past weekend we borrowed my friends Canon Selphy and my wife fell in love with it and asked me to buy one for her. So after checking online and reading various reviews, I saw that the PictureMate had a higher rating, more features, printed much faster, had a lower cost per print.
Based on all of those reviews it appeared that the Epson was a better quality unit so I bought one.
After printing the first photo with the Epson, it was apparent that all of the reviews were correct. This is a great printer with lots of options and is extremely easy to use.
Just to test the difference between the Selphy and the Picturemate, I printed the same exact photo that I had from the Selphy and compared it to the PictureMate. There is a major difference between the two. The Espon print was MUCH brighter and had much more detail than the Canon. As a professional photographer, I was really amazed at the quality this little printer.
Another real nice feature of this printer is the size of the screen. It's a large 3.6" screen and is extremely easy to navigate. The Selphy had a tiny screen and wasn't near as user friendly.
Digital camera Review: Epson Picture Maker Summary: 5 Stars
My wife was constantly going to Walgreens to cut and crop pictures so I decided that since she told me she didn't need anything for Christmas I would purchase this one thing that obviously she did need. She is a photobug so why not. This little machine is big on quality of the prints and features. Very easy to set up and use. I had the first pictures in less then 10 minutes. She is not particularly tech savvy but has no problem getting it done with this printer. Only drawback I see is that the intial ink cartridge didn' last through the 25 picture papers that came with the unit. But the refill cartridge and paper for 150 pictures was less then $40. That's alot of pictures for the money if the ink holds out for 150 pictures!
Digital camera Review: Epson Picture Mate is a thumbs up! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this to replace the Kodak Easy Share printer I bought with my camera. That printer died just after the warranty expired. This Epson model is great for me. It does almost everything better than the Kodak model. These are expensive toys, and I'm sure I will never get the cost per print down to drug store prices, but it is awfully convenient and makes a dandy print. It is fast, and the colors are sharp. I think they charge way too much for replacement ink and paper, but that's another issue. I would certainly recommend this product.

This is a cool printer. The print quality is pretty good. I wish it had a bluetooth and mini SD reader.
Digital camera Review: Excellent Printer Summary: 5 Stars
This printer is easy to set up as a stand-alone or through a computer. It prints beautiful natural colors and does it very quickly. It only gives 4X6 inch pictures, but that hasn't been a problem for me; very nice machine indeed!
