I purchased this printer a month ago and have loved it since day one. It is extremely easy to use (I've used it by attaching the camera directly, inserting the memory card and connecting it to my PC). The quality of the prints are amazing. I was looking for a product that would be simple to use, yet produce quality pictures. This printer is it. Since I purchased it I have printed many photos for myself and family members. Each is identical to a professional photo. I have 3 young children and not a lot of time for technical details. I am delighted with this purchase and I have some projects lined up for I return to work. Consumers Reports rated this printer #1 and I agree. Very nice product Epson. As a professional photographer, I was skeptical this little printer could live up to the reviews I read on it, but I took a chance...and I was NOT disappointed!!! I am so excited about the PictureMate! Although it will not completely replace traditional lab printing for me, to have a BEAUTIFUL, CRISP, CLEAR image in seconds at home is a real treat!
And another bonus? You can print MULTIPLE images on ONE sheet using wallet size settings. (i.e., 2"x3" oversize wallet setting will yield 2 images - either 2 identical images, or one copy of 2 different images on the same sheet of paper)
Ink consumption so far seems to be living up to what I have read. The initial cartridge has lasted 17 prints - and I just got the "low ink" warning. Ink dries fast, and you can handle photos almost immediately after printing.
My husband commented when I purchased this printer, "How can something so inexpensive be that good? There's gotta be a catch!" I guarantee you, there is not catch. If you want BEAUTIFUL images at home, buy this printer!!!

I love this printer. It is simple to use and prints beautiful photos.
The ink cartridge is very simple to load, as is the paper . You can use it with or without a computer . I got this printer home and out of the box and was printing beautiful photos in 5 minutes flat ! I had another personal printer and was not happy with it so believe me I searched for the perfect printer this time and I do believe I found it . Nothing but good things to say about the PM260.
