TO BEGIN WITH,
i got reservations buying this printer, im not an EPSON fan, got epsons before and they were a pain to maintain.
but
i got a good deal on this one from a local store, SO, i bought it.
I only used it to print CD/DVDs. about a 100 before this machine stop working, and before that, i have to pamper it.
i dont know what the industrial engineers at epson was thinking, but the design is a failure, TOO MANY POINTS OF FAILURE, they could have just opted for a simpler design but NO, it has to be this.
If you are brave enough, buy it and quickly, you will realize the design of the CD Print Tray is a JOKE!!!.
I will never buy any epson product again not to mention, the INK COST, UNIT COST and FRUSTRATION.
you just want a printer that PRINTS!!! and not some device that shows off technology that nobody care about (CD Print TRAY).
I spent countless effort and patience trying to engage the CD Print Tray, turning the printer OFF/ON and moving the tray itself a notch to make the printer print.
This will happen every time, like a demon... asking for INKS, making SO MUCH NOISE and ALL THIS MOVING IN and OUT,(so called calibrations) and THEN!!!
ERROR!!!! what a piece of JUNK!!!
If you think you are a candidate for Sainthood, buy this printer... when it starts acting up with the CD Print Tray, good luck!!!
Im NOT JUST DISAPPOINTED, I'M ANGRY, thats how frustrating this printer is and im glad that it finally STOP working today, at least, i can now throw this piece of JUNK!!!
