As of this writing every printer that takes this cartridge (T068120, 68 series black) also takes the T069120 (69 series black). This cartridge gives you 50% more prints vs the T069120 but the T069120 is more common and therefore you can often get it farther below list and/or with free shipping.
Some of the printers (check yours) will also take the T088120 (88 series black) cartridge, but it's always a bad deal.

So as of this writing it makes sense to get this cartridge even with the steeper discounts on the other ones. And given the 69 series is already more steeply discounted I'd expect this cartridge to only widen its price advantage over time as it becomes more popular.

I purchased this Epson ink cartridge refills thru Amazon. When installing the 2nd new cartridge from the package, the printer still showed empty. After finally swapping the 2 black cartridges, I realized that the brand new cartridge was empty from the factory. I thought buying the Epson cartridges would assure me of quality. I am very unhappy with this purchase. Trying to get any help from the Epson web site was impossible. Tec Support told me the High-Capacity cartridge would not work with my printer (Epson Styulus C120). The first cartridge in the package worked great and the other replacement High Capacity cartridged that I finally used is working great too. Epson needs to work on their factory quality control and their support too.Digital camera Review: epson cartridges....

i ordered the epson cartridges - they were the real thing, arrived promptly and saved me a few bucks from purchasing at staples, etc, as well as being so much easier! i'll order more...Digital camera Review: more ink, please

The product does what it is supposed to do - last longer than the normal replacement cartridge. Maybe someday someone will invent a self-replenishing cartridge that never runs out!
