In retrospect, I would have spent an extra $20 or so for a more reputable battery. This one isn't bad, but it did not perform as expected for a "high capacity" battery. I followed the recommendations for initial charging and it simply was not as good as the comparable Dell battery I had for another laptop. Dell's are way more expensive but there are several other know companies with aftermarket batteries that would probably have been more reliable.Digital camera Review: Very poor durability
