Product delivers on all its specifications. I was especially surprised by how quiet the device is while it is shredding. The unit has plenty of capacity and has a excellent motor (doesn't seem to slow down when shredding ten documents at time). The 99Ci seems to do everything it claims. Shreds well and senses your hands near the opening. I'd recommend this shredder to anyone that has used a 'cheap' machine before, none of the hassles, also nice and quite for a shredder.Digital camera Review: Effective, effortless and safe

The prior home office shredders had short life spans---too many jams, too little capacity, etc. I felt a larger, stronger shredder would be the answer---and so bought this one. It arrived fully assembled, except for the rollers (I needed help to install the castors). So far: perfect. Quiet. Safe--authomatic sensor shuts the machine off should fingers and paws get too close to the slot. Takes multiple sheets in larger quantities. Window allows me to see when basket is full. I bought this for our home office. The best price by far was found here on Amazon.
This runs fairly quietly, which was one of the most important features I wanted. It is modern looking, and has wheels. It has extra features such as a "bin full" light/icon feature, and a see-through plastic strip running up the bin so you have an easy visual of how full it is.
The no-jam feature has yet to fail. It sucks it in partially, then stops, then will either back it out on its own, or proceed grinding it without jamming.
The bin seems to take two hands to push in all the way -one to hold the machine, and the other to push in the bin, as it seems to catch at the end and not want to go in easily, but this is a minor issue.
It is worth the money to get this grinder, as it does the job well and seems like it will last a long while.
It also comes with a container of gear oil (I did not know that, and bought some separately).

I have only had this shredder for about a month BUT I LOVE IT!!
I have had three other shredders in the last five years and all of them were noisy and did not perform very well. This shredder is quit and has the power needed to shred whatever I have put into it. I look forward to reviewing it's durability but for now all I know is it is definitly a workhorse.
