I like to take notes while I read through my books, and I was getting frustrated going back and forth between the book and notes, holding pages back, etc. This stand holds up all my text books. It holds the pages back well and there are plenty of angles you can adjust it to. If you're thinking about buying this, just know that the part the books sit on is only about an 1.5" thick, so if your book is around 3" deep, you'll have trouble holding the pages back on this stand.Digital camera Review: Great for holding bigger books

This copyholder is perfect for the price. It does the job, is adjustable and seems sturdy. It is plastic and needs to be handled with that in mind. When not in use, it folds flat which is great for storage and carrying in a computer case.
