Digital camera reviews of Fellowes P-57Cs, 8 Sheet Cross-Cut Shredder 3205701Digital camera Review: Buy a Fellowes 1st Summary: 4 Stars
For the $$ this is the best home use shredder. I tried store brand and they broke. This one is relatively quite and strong enough for all those credit card applications I get in the mail. Make sure you do not let the gum-backed "sample" credit cards go through though.
Digital camera Review: Cannot Recommend Summary: 1 Stars
I have never attempted to shred more than four or five sheets at a time. I began to notice that the machine was jamming when I tried to shred even single sheets. Upon inspection, I found that several of the plastic dividers meant to separate the metal teeth had sheared off and paper was jamming those teeth. As I said, I have never over-loaded the machine. The dividers should themselves be constructed of metal, not plastic. I am not impressed with the craftsmanship.
Digital camera Review: Chomper! That what I named this Machine Summary: 5 Stars
I can use this machine easily. It does not clog very often.
It does get warm and turn off, but then to do triple
shreds, I guess Chomper can get a little over heated.
Sure beats me and a pair of scissors!!!
Digital camera Review: Compact shredder Summary: 4 Stars
Nice compact shredder. It shreds ok; it hasn't gotten stuck yet, but I haven't tried to shred more than 3 pages at a time (I'm not one to take gadgets to their limit). It's a bit on the loud side but has a cool "spooling / winding up and down" sound. As of now, I'd say that I WOULD buy it, again, but don't know much about longevity.
Digital camera Review: Considerably quiet. Good value. Summary: 5 Stars
I love this product. I've had several cheap shredders from office supply stores and decided to splurge on this one, which really wasn't that much of a splurge, and it's worth every penny. It's relatively quiet for a shredder and it shreds 8 pages and credit cards easily.
