Digital camera Review: Do NOT BUY THESE!!!! Thin, and they get caught and tear when you pull them out of the machine!

Are you kidding me? I get a bag full of shredded paper and they're flimsy already but then I go and pull them out and they get caught inside the machine and tear down the side, what's the point? I wish I could get my money back on these things because they are GOD AWFUL! I now use Costco trash compacter bags that fit perfectly and don't tear when you pull them out, a little more expensive but worth it. The bags are expensive. But .......
The bags are needed for my new Fellowes shredder and I can use one bag 3 or 4 times before I need to replace it since I throw the shredded material into the recycle bin sans the bag.
If you need to keep the shredded material in the bag when you toss it, then buy some cheap bags to transfer the shredded material into.

We use these plastic bags with the Fellowes Powershred PS-77Cs shredder. Using some of type of bag with this shredder is a virtual necessity. Without a bag, a complete mess occurs in the process of emptying the bin. These bags do a suitable job of collecting the shredded paper.
The bags fit comfortably in the shredder, although the top hangs over the front of the bin and is visible. They do seem to be overpriced, considering that they are made of flimsy plastic. I imagine someone could fabricate a suitable substitute bag for less money. But since the cost is 25 cents per bag and a bag lasts us for several weeks, it really does not seem to be worth the time and effort to find a substitute.

Fits the bin of my Fellowes shredder nicely so minimizes loose chads, but way too expensive for 100 plastic bags. these should definitely be made only from recycled plastics, I think.
